On April 21st, Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades GOTY Edition released which includes the base game as well as both expansions, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City. It is recommended by the developers for players that have cleared Lothric Castle. It was announced on January 23rd, 2017 by Bandai Namco and released on March 28th, 2017. It is possible to lure the Dragonslayer onto the bridge where Darkeater Midir ambushes the player and use the dragon's fire breath to defeat it without having to engage it directly.The Ringed City DLC is the second and final DLC for Dark Souls 3. One trait about this enemy is that once it detects the player, it will pursue them relentlessly around the swamp, even inside the submerged shrine and into the chamber containing the bonfire. It is recommended to clear out any nearby enemies before approaching the Dragonslayer as they may prove to be a fatal distraction. The swamp gives the player more room to battle it, allowing for increased maneuverability. The strategies employed against the boss version of the armour are equally effective against this version, as it begins the fight with its phase two moveset. It eventually ended up in the swamps of the Ringed City where it was possessed by the memories of its hunts and reanimated itself.
